ATLANTA - Coca-Cola's latest experiment might be
enough to give you the jitters
The soft drink maker has been tinkering with a coffee-
flavored cola,
using the possible brand name Blak.
The introduction of such a product might be a
caffeinated long shot.
But analyst Bill Pecoriello of Morgan Stanley -- who
reported about
Blak on Tuesday -- noted that Coke is working on a
lineup of new
products in hopes of reviving sales.

Recipe of the Month . . .
Sunbelt Coffee Syrup
Ingredients:
1 cup sugar, white or raw granulated
1 cup Sunbelt Coffee
16 ounces of cold water, strongly brewed strong
using 1 cups ground coffee to 16 ounces of cold
water; more to taste
Instructions: 1. In a medium saucepan,
combine the brewed coffee with the sugar and bring
it to a boil. Stir constantly to ensure that the sugar
is dissolved.
2. Lower the heat to a simmer and continue stirring
for three more minutes.
3. Remove saucepan from the heat and allow the
syrup to cool.
OTHER GREAT USES
Stir a tablespoon or two into milk,
hot or cold, for a delicious drink. Decorate
cookies or cakes. Pour syrup over ice cream
or to coat fresh
fruit, from oranges to melons. To coat
fruit, blot
off excess moisture, dip into the syrup, and set on
waxed paper to harden.
Chill and eat!
When stored in a covered jar or bowl, the syrup can
keep in the refrigerator for up to one month, but we
doubt it will last that long!
